I find Intermittent setting doesn't work the best in really heavy rain
Were they on auto - maybe it's the sensor playing up

I wish it were that easy I read another post here somewhere by Andrew that mentioned the rain and headlight sensors are coupled and he had a wiper issue. Maybe it could be this? Will chat with Land Rover today and see what happens.

Sensor issues would be unlikely to leave the wiper arms in a vertical position, which I think is what you've experienced.

I would expect the sensor to trigger a complete wiper operation cycle or cycles so the wipers finish back at the down position.

If they are stopping in the raised position (unfinished cycle) perhaps it is a power problem.

Hi Scott,

Stuck in vertical position was the initial fault, but subsequently it's been no wipers activating.

Land Rover has told me the control unit/computer reports a wiper blocked error.

Land Rover have said they suspect it to be loose wiring/fitment of the relay. I'm not confident this could be the issue as this will be the third attempt at fixing the problem.

If it were a loose relay connection I would have expected more constant failure as opposed to fail once after two weeks ... I know it's just wipers but if we're driving in heavy rain at 100 km/hr I don't want another failure ...
