There is a somewhat parallel thread here that you have contributed quite a lot so I am sure you across that one.

Ken, I suggest that we continue this privately at this time.

Now that I've re-familiarised myself with the earlier threads, perhaps best to continue with the original thread at http://www.aulro.com/afvb/l319-disco...trol-d4-4.html

Has CMbB been enabled in the CCF? I note that for my RRV the %set matches the %set of the other ACC parameters.

Yes CMbB had been enabled in the CCF, BUT that was before the current firmware.. I will post any updates on the original thread..

    For those interested,
I recently fitted a winch, Runva 11XP, to ARB Bull Bar.
    The ACC is working fine.
I honestly thought with winch in place it would be blocked, but there is enough of a gap for it to work.
    Cheers Vin

Is your radar unit mounted in the centre or to one side?

    Dead centre Graeme.
It has a gap across the top of winch, thru grill on bull bar.

Do you recon therefore that the winch controller must be mount off the winch and on top of the access cover on top of the bar like you have done, because it would block the radar if mounted directly on the winch frame? This would apply to any brand of winch.

Great to hear the ACC still works. I'm off to ARB for a chat this week, but not sure how they'll take a Runva discussion!

    Hi Andrew
I think by mounting it directly onto of winch would block radar.
Obviously I haven't tried but it is part of the reasoning I went with mounting access cover plate.
ARB supply a winch mount kit, which includes a mounting bracket and plate for control box.
It then sits half way down in hole vacated by access cover.
I looked at this and decided to follow Mungus install as it was much neater, as well as getting the control box out of radar's way.
Again, I wasn't 100% sure until I put it all together and tested.
In the ARB kit is a Hawse Fairlead adaptor to position it centre, I think it only applies to rope winch not wire.
They also have a kit for flip up number plate.
They tried to convince me not to mount control box on cover plate, but they weren't aware of all the intricacies.
I did have to cut the bottom off the radar mounting bracket as it clashed with winch when reinstalling bull bar with winch.
I cut the bracket on each side of radar, at narrow section.
