Adaptive Cruise Control and ARB Bull Bar

I had ARB Summit Bull Bar fitted today.
Got a call to say that the Adaptive Cruise Control Radar which is located behind plastic bumper bar will now be behind steel bull bar and therefore won't work.
ARB say they haven't got around to that yet.
    It's low on priority list.
I rang LR who said they don't know if radar will work to spec if relocated.
The said if relocated will likely void warranty.
Has anyone come across this problem?
Something to be where of for those planning to fit bull bar.
    Cheers Vin

Did you tell them it had acc? If you did I'd be having a serious chat with the manager about not fit for purpose

Is the responsibility on me to advise ARB, as advertising states it has mounting brackets.

In discussions with ARB prior to placing any order, we realised that the ARB bull bar does not make any allowance for the D4 surround camera. The local manager is chasing up whether the front cameras can be relocated onto the bar.

That's pretty poor coming from a company that says they put so much into design and development. Advertising it has the mounting brackets for ACC, but not testing to see if it is functional.
So far as cameras go, I will find a spot for them in the under protection panels and not in the bar. Once again pretty poor considering it is only a couple of small holes. They could have had my car for design purposes.

Out of interest Rhinosm, did the factory fog lights get refitted?
    Cheers, Mungus.

    Factory fog lights don't fit.
    New fog lights.
I pick it this morning and will have to take up ACC issue with head office.

Well that's entirely different then - ask for a refund - product not as advertised - I'd be spitting chips

Ive been told by ARB head office they have no intention of making the changes necessary to accommodate ACC.
My options are to keep as is or they will return to original, no bull bar.
    I need some thinking music.

I agree about taking it back. They specifically state in the advertising material that it supports the cruise control and it doesn't. You have a right to return it and they reinstate your car back to the way it was. Give 'em grief. I hate it when companies promise everything and don't deliver. It causes so much wasted time and effort on everyone's behalf.

    So the dilemma is,
If you want a Bull Bar you can't have ACC.
They are happy to reinstate to original.
So how badly do I want a BB?
