    DIY service

    Hi guys ,

So I am on a budget so I am attempting a service on My Discovery 4 75000 Klms on clock.

So what should I do any ideas?

    Fuel filter ?
    Oil ? What oil
    ???????

Where do I get parts in Brissy

Is there a thread on this somewhere as this will be my first attempt on a discovery 4

    Thanks for all your help

This is an open ended question as there are a lot of variables.
First use only the proper specifications for the oil. This can be got at Repco. The fuel filter should be done as well, parts from your friendly LR dealer, as with the oil filter.
Think about looking on eBay for a service kit with all filters, including the cabin filter as well.
If you have not changed the transmission oil as yet have a serious think about it, only use genuine oil else you will regret it like I did.
At this mileage I would be planning some time soon to have the diffs and transfer case fluids changed too. Diffs only have a half litre of hard working oil in them, the transfer case not too much more. They are expensive to replace.
Maintenance is cheap compared to the eye watering cost of repairs.

Have a look at this, it has PDF of the schedules, what to do etc.

The search function on this forum is usefeul. I put in D4 mainenance schedule and got that lot.
