    Iphone & BT audio

    All,

I use an Iphone 6s in my 2013 SE SDV6. The car came with the tech pack so it's got satnav but not the top of the range Meridian sound system.

When making or receiving calls via BT the audio (in and out) fails 50% of the time. It'll come good after 10 to 30 seconds but by then the other party has hung up.

This almost always happens when I try to make or take call directly after completing one.

I have changed phones, same issue.

Its like there's a buffering issue with the stereo in that it runs out of puff. If I wait a minute or so between calls it mostly (but not always) works ok.

    Ideas anyone?

The bluetooth phone is part of the IAM (Integrated Audio Module aka the head unit) so it's likely to be something up in the head unit itself.

Still under warranty? I'd take it back to the dealer and ask them to check if there is a TSB relating to this problem, or ask them to see if there is a software update for the IAM (if it's still running the original 2013 software, there as been at least two updates to the software since then if i'm not mistaken...)
