    Removing air intake grille

I was investigating my "hissing" noise yesterday.
    Airbox all good.
How do you get the air intake grille off?????
Using my plastic trim tools I got the front edge to move, couldnt budge the rear edge.Gave up before I inflicted carnage.

If you look down from the top with the bonnet open you can see the top clips holding it in. Get something long enough to release them, the the bottom comes out easy enough when you pull.

I read up on Disco3, watched YouTube videos and steeled myself .... still couldn't get it to budge.
Back to bonnet and pulling upwards first does seem to be best way but I just couldn't get a good enough grip.
Looking down with the bonnet open sounds like a good tip.

    Cheers,

Here is a link to a video for removing the side vent from a D3, I imagine its similar to a D4 but have never tried to remove one myself so can't be of any more help. Anyway I hope it may be helpful.

I think D4 clips are different to D3 which is why everyone who watches the videos with people yanking the vent off a D3 are stuck when they try to do it to their D4.
Seriously, easiest way and lowest risk of damage is through the bonnet panel at the top.

On the D4 the vent has to be lifted quite a bit before the bottom unhooks. The top has springs that compress.
