Was chatting fellow today. He was telling me the injectors on his mates D3 blew up. Made a hell of a mess aparrently.
Is this the sort of thing that happens to D3s?
How is it fixed?

The fellow who told me the story owns a D4.
And loves it.
His mate bought the D3 s/h a while ago.
It's in at the mechanics. If it wasn't looked at today, it will be looked at tomorrow.
First time I've heard of an injector blowing up. It's what the owner thinks it may be. If it isn't, I wonder what it may be.
I think a little poetic licence was taken Mick...
Take a look how they're fitted and apart from the rail failing or the injector splitting there's not a lot that could happen.
The mess would be sprayed diesel at most.
