I can't help with the location of the earths but I'd start with the studs behind the front footwell side panels.
Keyless entry is not keyless ignition.
Just as an aside, I was getting numerous faults when my battery was getting old. Low voltage on startup caused ecu startup issues for many of he ECUs and errors logged. New battery, no errors. Might not be related, but interesting.
In true fashion, I went to go have a look around and remove the kick panel.
Fault cleared and didn't come back...
While on batteries... Would people suggest putting a new main in before a trip?
I have a new Yellowtop but the main looks to be a couple of years old.
Pretty close to correct, i reckon this was it.
Had it's first proper service today (by Rover Tech and not the used car dealer).
Without any fault codes to chase they noticed it was charging lower than normal volage, earth block was loose. Tightened earth plate, instant 14.2V.
Will stick some locktite on that earth I think.
