RED Jerry for ULP, Yellow Jerry for Diesel!

I lived in a very cold country for 12 months and due to diesel gelling in the extreme cold and difficulty starting, we thought nothing of mixing 10 litres of "gas" into the tank. Never ever had any problems although I wouldn't go much more the 10 litres to a full tank of diesel!
Now live in CBR and during winter trips up to the snowies, I mix either 4 litres of kerosene into every full tank or 5-10 litres of ULP to stop the fuel waxing. Again with no issues whatsoever.
I think from the many examples of people putting in limited amounts of ULP before realising their mistake, we are all a little risk adverse. If it's under 10 litres - just dilute the ULP with a full tank of diesel and carry on. Any more then yes I'm fully for draining the tank!!
Catmatt- what vehicle are you referring to?
Just reading this made me smile after a 12 hr night shift fuelling up my landcruiser 100 I filled my main and sub tank up with 120liters of ulp I go in and pay and the attendant said to I thought you had a diesel car..... pushed it to side drained the petrol
Filled it up again with diesel started it up and away I went
The killer was the $1.50 PER LITRE to get rid of the fuel
A guy at work did this last week. He filled up his Patrol with dual tanks with petrol because he wasn't at his usual servo and the pump handle was black. Unfortunately he drove home.
