    Llams not working

    Hi
    Currently on the LR Training day in Melbourne.
    My Llams is not working. Back to the OEM system.
    Any thoughts on why it wouldn't be working.

    Where is the red mode button? If pressed when Llams is off it will lock Llams off. Press it again.

    The module LED will alternate red and green if in locked mode.

    Do many have issues with the Llams,or are issues generally operator error???

    I've not had any problems, the system has worked as expected from installation.

    If it works at installation and then stops, it is nearly always operator error.

    I think Scott nailed it.
    Must of accidentally pressed red button at some stage.
    Working fine now.
    Out of interest, these are the measurements in mm's from concrete to under side of wheel arch in 4 basic modes.
    Rear/Front
    Low 820/800
    Normal 850/830
    Mid 900/880
    High 945/930

    Training day good fun, my second now.
    Talk to other D4 owners.

    A best as I can remember, since changing wiring harness manufacturers 4 years ago to get away from very poor connector assembly and short pins in one of the connectors causing mostly front valve faults, 1 switch lead incorrectly assembled, 2 wiring looms 1 wire each not properly in the connector, 1 module malfunctioning after sitting unused for some time so replaced both ICs and resoldered the IC sockets and 1 or possibly a couple of the module's 5V volt regulators replaced most likely due to having been short circuited, which now should not occur due to the inclusion of a self-resetting electronic fuse (poly-switch) in the 12V supply. Some early looms have been replaced if the cable-tie trick didn't work or if the kit was being transferred to another vehicle. A couple of the early rotary switches with their attached lead have been replaced with the later switch and detachable lead when a wire has broken.

    Protected switch loacation

    I was worried about accidentally pushing this switch, so I located it behind the lower dash panel here; the hole already exists, but is about 0.5mm too small.




    A stubby cooler folded in half fills that space next to the unit.
