    Ignition Switched DC high

    Hi All,

has anyone found a suitable easy access ignition switched DC connection point on a 2012 onwards D4, prefer inside cabin?

I may have to bring a high current cable in from battery and then use a decent relay to switch via low current ignition point.

want to re-wire towpro and long range tank to this switched point.

I haven't looked for it myself yet - but I read somewhere that there is a purple wire (or maybe purple trace) in the back of the headlight switch that is live only when ignition switched on. Someone else once posted that they use this wire to "trigger" relay/s for other after market accessories.
    Cheers .........

The 12S tow plug loom has both permanent live and switched live and is easily accessible in the passenger side rear storage compartment.
