Scorpion Verde All Season
Hi all,
Apologies in advance for what i'm certain must have been asked before - i just can't find it in the searches anywhere!
The current tyres on our beast are starting to get low, so i'm out researching options for their eventual replacement. The amount of offroading we do isn't really enough to justify the GOE 18" rims, so i'll probably stick with the 19" stocks for the foreseeable future.
I currently have Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season, which I thought to be a pretty crap offroad tyre before the weekend's GOE training adventures (turns out the D4 probably would have been fine climbing rocks on slicks)
In researching, it looks like these come in the stock 255/55R19 (as I have now), as well as 255/60R19 - to my understanding, that would place them in the same sidewall height as the stock 18" tyres on the 2.7 models? Aren't they 255/60R18? So about 153mm in height, vs my current 140mm?
Has anybody run these? They seem to be within any tolerance I can find, with the benefit of a bit more sidewall for sand driving etc...
