Thread: Army Number 5 trailer behind a D3?

That's what I do Jeepster (except that mine is an engineering trailer). The D4 I just purchased came with the OE tow bar which means the trailer sits low at the tow point. I have a Mitch Hitch on order which I expect will level it all out OK. I will need to shorten the bar that the pintle is attached to and drill a new pin hole.

This is what im using on my series...
I need to re drill the hole closer to the hitch so it doesnt stick out too far.

That is what I had on my J**p - sorry I sold it now (the receiver, not the J**p!).

Yep, looks good.
Height adjustable until the top of the pintle hits the back tailgate when it is down!
Thats similar to what I had on my J##p and the upper limit was dictated by the bottom of the side opening rear door.
