D3 door locks - deadbolt on second botton push

As per the subject I am having an issue with the door locks on my 2007 D3. First push of the lock button all is ok but normally when you push the lock button the second time you get a nice "thud" type of noise as the deadbolt is forced in.

Now what is happening is a funny sort of a Bzzzzt noise and I'm not concinved the deadbolts are working. Noise is in the drivers door. Doors them selves though are locked but I suspenct not deadbolted.

    Any thoughts?

Yep I had mine at the car yes when I purchase it it was a mongrel job basically the whole innards of the door. Worst part is if it isn't working correctly all the doors will unlock. I found had to lock using the dash button from inside through the passengers door then remote lock I think problem also was it opened on the last of the handle and then the horn alarm went off - lol upsets the neighbours
