My understanding is you can connect multiple devices, but only one will work at a time.
We have 2 phones connected via Bluetooth but I have to choose which one is in use on touchscreen.
How many devices can you connect to the D4 at once???
Never tried, can you have 2 phones at once????

100% agree with rhinosm. We have two phones I will say 'recognised' by our D4 (MY12, TDV6 S -- not a touch screen), but only one is 'active' at any given time. If my version at least, cannot have two phones 'active' at the same time.
Say if only one of us gets in (eg, me), the car scans and 'connects' to my phone. If it was my wife, it would have connected to her phone. If we both get in, the car seems to connect to whichever phone it was connected to last. It is an easy job to go through the menu and swap phones -- which is what we do on a long drive -- we have the driver's phone connected.
Not sure of the maximum number of phones that can be recognised (stored in memory) as I find one wife is enough.

SubscriberHi, I have found that you can have three or four devices connected at once but only one for each connection type.
For example I can have my phone connected to the phone, but be playing music through bluetooth from my son's phone and have an ipod connected to USB. You can swap audio devices between them without reconnecting, but only one connection is active for each type.
You can't use two phones at one as phones.
Thanks People.
I only ask as I always carry a work phone as well as mine, normally leave it in the glove box and check it every hour or 2.Difference is tomorrow I'm off to the city for the day,and I'm on call.I think I will do what I normally do

Hi Andy.
Can you redirect the work phone to yours? That way you would still get the call on hands free.

Nice plan Andrew. That's the spirit!!
