    Compressor Damage

Has anyone experienced compressor damage offroading? I have a mate who is wondering whether to spend the hard earned on an APT protector for it.

    Cheers

Not me but I don't see anything serious enough for sliders either (other than the GOE day) The two would go together. Have done rocky trails at slow speed. Mostly see sandy track and beach work.

Horses for courses but no harm in being super safe from a big branch either.

I have certainly taken a couple of hard knocks on my APT guard that would have damaged the plastic cover and likely the compressor but as said already it all depends on where you go.
Also worth considering that even just sticks can be speared into the plastic cover, doesn't have to be rocky terrain. I used to get sticks wedged between guard and cover before I got the APT version with frontal protection.
