    D4 roof rail mouldings

    Currently looking at the various options on roof racks.
    As I have the extended roof rails from factory, some rack options require removal of the rails.
    If I were to choose the pioneer tray for example there would be sections of the gutter that would benefit being covered by the factory ditch mouldings that I don't have.
    In the mounting instructions they suggest cutting portions of the original ditch moulding to fit back.

    Has anyone purchased these factory mouldings for this very purpose just to cut up to fill in these sections?

    Hoping someone may have an OEM part number or another alternative.

    I'm awaiting my Rhino with backbone. I too have had the long rails since sold and now have a short front section of the gutter filler. As the backbone will also go over the front bolt, I think I'll just live with the missing bits of filler. Saying that, I'm interested to know the cost for new ones.

    I priced some second hand ones - $120. They are big so I think freight would be $$$$

    Part numbers for the two weatherstrip mouldings are:
    (RHS) LR018079
    (LHS) LR018081

    From UK suppliers look to be about $90 each but shipping probably a killer...

    I was wondering whether it might be worth it for you to ask roof rack places in your local area (or on this forum) to keep an eye out for anybody installing some rails to then give you the discarded parts?

    I know I had the Rhino tracks installed and never got the discarded parts...
