Best bit with mine - doesn't touch the slider when muddy [emoji6]
Well I purchased the rubber that David suggested (used eBay link supplied). I attached it as suggested by Scott.
Didn't work as the rubber was 13mm high and did not bridge the gap. I am not sure even if the 19mm type suggested by Scott was big enough.
So a wasted $20. Going to find some bigger rubber.
I have APT sliders fitted.
All the best
Laurie
The 19mm height is just enough for my APT sliders at one end and is heavily compressed at the other end. The gap is not even along the door.

Tombie, any chance of a photo of yours?

I believe I bought the same stuff as you but when i put on a trial piece on the door there still is a gap. I have the APT sliders with the foot plate and 2014 TDV6.

Tried a few other positions and the only ones that seem touch are as below

The other position,

Not keen on this one.
i could put the rubber over the gap between the slider and step
or do as Tombie has and also put some pinch weld on the door

seems like it
i had Ben from APT install them. When doing it he removed something and asked if I wanted it which I didn't. Not sure what it was now and may be I had to put it back on.
Sorry that that is very vague but it was a few years ago now.
May be all I need is to cover the gap in the slider step ?
