    Think that is correct remembering back now. It's pretty easy to get into the head unit and then you have the jack where you need it in the centre console.

    Just a matter of learning what colour wires to look for.

    That's where I tapped into the wires to run an aux socket into the upper glovebox when I had a D3. Looking back, it would have been quicker to remove the head unit and tap directly into the cables out of it.
