I agree, it is personal taste. I agonised for a while about whether to go with the contrast like you did or colour matched. Hereis my colour matched version. The OP may get some extra ideas?

I saw a Jeep the other day with his ARB bar colour coded to the same red the car was and it looked really good. But for me it'll be black on white as BMKal's D4 is. But I may well have the bar extra painted before fitting as I don't like the original ARB powder coat as it doesn't look good after a couple of years out front.
Or I may go barless.......

SubscriberI've got bronze. I've seen it colour coded - front cover of the ARB brochure but I'd be interested to see it black as well like the other accessories. Still, won't be buying one anytime soon. Too hard for this occasional tourer to justify

SupporterMine is colour matched to the white vehicle, never again.
It shows too many marks, and there is slight surface rust on some of the sharp edges of the bar.
I will go back to black next time,as i have had on all my previous vehicles.
On the white vehicles definitely black accessories imho.
on the darker shades colour coding does look good, but the pc does fade quite quick as it’s not the same as auto I have also seen the corrosion on the lighter pc bars, not pretty. A mate of mine had a powder coated OL bar fitted to his Defender, within 3 months it was replaced under warranty because they didn’t do the surface prep properly and it rusted on all the corners.
(Again in my opinion) the OP’s black car, with different shade of black bar, but with matching shade of rack and snorkel looks great, I wouldn’t change it.

SupporterHave had the bar on for over 3 years now. Absolutely no problems with it. Fitting wasn't an issue. I got the ARB bar put on by MacArthur Land Rover at Narellan. I think they "sub-contract" it out to ARB just down the road. However, wanted to get it installed by a dealer. Done in a day no probs. Not a winch bar, wern't available at time but not sure if I would have gone for one anyway. Still happy that went for colour matching. No problems with paint. Only managed to put 3 roos out of their miserable existence with the bar so far. No mark on the bar or vehicle as yet.
