    Compressor Dryer

    Hi, Just wondering how often other people have had to change (refurbish) their compressor dryer due to blocking up and the system not venting. Have just done mine for the 2nd time at 244000 kms. Would seem to me that it is a maintenance item about every 100000 kms.

    Mine was done at 150k km when i bought it, due to an air leak. Not sure if it had been done before that.

    Again another stupid design from our favourite manufacturer.

    Why not simply put on a replaceable canister of desiccant on the end of the input pipe that is say replaced every second service. There is a gauze there at the moment but that is mainly to keep bugs etc out of the system.

    I bought a kit off Ebay ex the Uk rebuilt the old one hardest part was the bloody bolt up the top .
