I know it's not a bull bar per se, but an ECB high loop nudge bar in black hammertone is $875 + $90 fitting.
Have the quote in front of me as I type.

Not sure. My mate got the price a week or so ago as fitted. Will find out. Think it was Black for his white d3. Cheers

						Yes ours was black
not sure of price without fitting
arb was similarly priced but they said I would have to wait approx 8 - 10 weeks
mrs wouldn't drive the car without one as she was worried about Roos (she's collected two in the past year in old car)
OL also fitted a pair of driving lights as well
looks sweet. Very happy with bar. And fitment

SubscriberARB Deluxe: 1926.00 plus fitting: 440.00
ARB Summit: $2298 plus fitting $495. The $495 I think includes parking sensor fitting for 2014 onwards models.
Not sure about colour coding costs - its mentioned, but only $40.
I spoke to them about 4x4 show discounts on bull bars - there is a show in three or so weeks in Melbourne. they said that would be the way to get a discount.
How tough is an East Coast alloy bar? Anyone know of how they'd handle a roo?
ECB are a very reputable alloy bar maker and have been around a long time.
Just make sure that whoever fits the bar is reputable and don't just go with the lowest price. The time allocated by bar manufacturers to fit bars is typically too low. Cheers

SubscriberI've been reading the reviews of ARB bars and it seems they all rust, and quite severely. Their shops have beautiful looking bars in them and their web site shows and claims high tech manufacturing. ARB Deluxe Bull Bars Reviews (page 2) - ProductReview.com.au It seems that their bars are Chinese made and are not any better than much cheaper ones.
I think an ECB would save in fuel and wear and tear, and it would be low maintenance because it will not rust. However, it will surely stuff itself if I hit a roo with it. I wonder how much it would cost to repair one? If I add up the cost in fuel, tyres, wear and tear due to carrying an extra 40kg up front due to steel versus alloy - plus the major issues of rust - maybe an alloy bar is a better bet. Shame they don't make one that is as tough as a steel bar.
