Both my car trailer and camper van have a front down stance when being towed worth the stock LR setup. What options exist for raising the tow ball by around 4 inches?
I don't want to replace the towbar so i am hoping a new type of tongue is available.
Thoughts?

I use the stock unit, but flipped upside down, to put the ball higher. Seems about right for most trailers I've used - maybe try that as a starting point?

I have seen those and wondered if they work with the D3.
I already have the standard tongue flipped upside down and need more height

I've got one of those MrHitch parts as pictured, on my D4 but the manual states that the distance between the centre of the locking pin and ball should only be 15cm or 6". That doesn't seem to be anything like that in the pics provided.
Is that 6"/15cm the same for the D3 or do they have different specs?
Although mine tows well another forum user did show why that measurement should not be exceeded as it altered the download on the hitch. Maybe turning the right angled part round so it faced back towards the vehicle would bring it back to the 6" requirement.

Further to the above I see the Proseries doesn't have welded webbing between the upright and tongue for strength, but the MrHitch does? Wouldn't this be important for strength?

ProSeries rated to 2500kg, Mr Hitches to 4000kg.

My camper trailer bent the Hayman Reece adjustable one at the top hole position. Am now trying the reenforced Hayman Reece unit that is a fixed height. Slightly lower than old one but much higher than factory tongue.
