    AMK Dryer rebuild Thread

Hi, there was a real good thread on here last year about how to rebuild the dessiccant dryer on AMK compressor. But, I can't seem to find it.

Yep thats the one. I actually found that thread with the search function, started on it and saw photos of compressors etc. But didn't trace it far enough back. Early onset dementia or lack of appropriate fluids - take your pick Thanks!

Easy job . There is you tube show on how to do it , the hard part is the top bolt holding it all in.

It has been stated previously by others to slot this hole once off for easy assembly/ disassembly later as the top bolt only needs to be loosened.

The AMK does not need to slot the top hole as you can remove the compressor without the bracket - and the dryer rebuild is relatively easy to do, just don't bother trying to do piston seals/rings as you need to press out the bearing which tends to be seized in and you will break the conrod
