Any better price quoted for BFG KO2 265/60R18?

Just got my GOE rim coming? Think of BFG KO2, temre Tyre Sydney quoted $401 including fitting, but BFG quoted $431. Any where got better price since it had been under hammer from financial Controller when she saw the rims-"again"?

I have found that often the price quoted includes a fee for the old tyre (replacement) being disposed of. Given these are new tyres on new rims, ask what is the disposal fee and can it be removed. Jax tyres did that for me on my tyres as I kept the New (old) ones that I sold 2 days after buying the D4.

Tempe Tyres were best priced when I got K02s done recently. 379inc. everything. Exchange rates may have varied pricing.

    Hi DIS4,
Slightly OT, but may I ask why you have chosen KO2's over Kuhmo MT51's? I'm also expecting my GOE rims and have all but decided on the MT51 in 265/60R 18. I had just installed a set of KO2's on the LSE shortly before its demise, and was most impressed with them in the short time I drove them. They would have been my tyre of choice for the D4 GOE rims, but the new MT51's were released and I have only read positive reviews of them. I ask this because the MT51 is priced around $100 less per tyre than the KO2. The KO2 seems overpriced in this size as the 235/70R 16 size I had on the Rangie was around $235 IIRC.

Was going to put the KO2 on my D3 but after reading all the reviews here and overseas, they changed my mind the biggest gripe was they were wearing out much quicker than the original ones and they had constant trouble with having them balanced. I rang quite a few tyre companies and they also told me that they were having trouble balancing them one bloke came back 5 times to get them balanced. They had 192grams on the outer edge and 96grms on the inner on one tyre to balance it. They said as far as off road was concerned they were brilliant but for the black top not as good. So I put Bridgestone 697 on as all the mobs said that they were a much better tyre. I am sure there will be a lot of people that disagree with this but these were my findings and having had 697s before I know what I am in for.

    Cheers

Just heard on the radio that BFG have a deal on ATM - buy 4 tyres & get a free $279 swag. Might be worth checking out.

For the extra 150-200/tyre over other brands i'd want more than a swag.

If I was paying 150-200 extra for the BFG's I just ordered I'd probably agree with you. However, I must have got a better price than you on my BFG's - not the same size as under question in this thread though.
