Would we be able to ask for the LineX coating, or is it powder-coated "one-in, all-in"?

Tombie, do you plan on picking the item up from where it lands in OZ, or will you get it freighted home?
I'd be interested in having a rack freighted to where you are as well for Dad to pickup for me. Maybe this could further reduce freight?

Considering it’s only over to Melbourne by the look of it, I’d just drive over and collect it, fit it and drive home.

I’m pretty sure I could strap another (in its packaging) to the roof to get it back to SA if that would assist Prospeed Roof Rack for D3/4 Group Buy?

    G'day DieselLSE,
Not long found this thread and I was wondering where this is at? I'm interested in a rack with most likely 2x floor sections, possibly 2x wheel holders and whilst we're about it, the rear ladder.

    Cheers,
    Jayden

    Hi Jayden,
I've run into a brick wall with freight costs. It's virtually just multiples of individual shipping. Still a work in progress I'm afraid.

    What about an AULRO container?
Everyone can chip in, could add what they want to it, and then we ship it to Australia...

Sounds simple but believe me it isn't, multiple suppliers and multiple consignees .

I was thinking of mentioning this in response to Jayden, but didn't want to complicate the issue. As Loanrangie points out, I'll need to organise it myself so there's only one point of contact. Also, I'll need Prospeed to agree. What I'm looking at is hiring or buying a container, parking it at Prospeed or securely nearby and over a period of, say, 12 weeks, have it loaded with the Prospeed gear that members want (and will have paid me for at pre-determined prices) and make the remaining space available to members to have loaded up with virtually whatever they want. The upside is that all the paperwork would be centralised and all contents insured, but the downside is that any individual shipment that would have otherwise not been charged GST, will now certainly be charged as the shipment would be in my company's name and would be treated as a single shipment, not thirty or forty separate ones. It will also be tricky in apportioning shipping costs to the non-Prospeed items (of which an estimate of shipping will need to be paid to me in advance).
Also, it might turn out to be a better deal to buy the container and sell it afterwards here. I'd have to accept this at my risk, of course.
So, there's still a bit of stuffing around to get this to work.
