I really wonder how shipping is calculated sometimes,

Received my GAP iiD BT, short factory rail and a few otheri tems.

It weighed almost 5kg the rails are a good 5 1/2 feet long and shipping cost £40.

The ladder weighs 5.5kg so with packaging 6.5kg. It is shorter than the rails but a bit wider and was quoted £175 because it was such a large item.

Over 4 times as much for shipping????

I have a rear ladder (standard gloss black) brand new in the box that I will not be using if anyone is interested? Located in Essendon, Melb - purchase price with shipping is a sill 410 pounds... I'd take $500 picked up, happy to help with courier if need be. It is in the box that ProSpeed sent it in and a very nice box it is (so it should be for the shipping charges)!
