    Differences between MY16 and MY16.5 SDV6 HSE

    Hello All,

    I have been offline for the last 6 months or so.

    I am looking at updating my SDV6 SE MY11 with either a SDV6 SE / SDV6 HSE MY16 or MY16.5.
    Does anybody know what the differences are between the MY16 and MY16.5 Year Models?

    what are the differentiators?

    my MY16 ?? 16.5 ?? is a NOV2015 build plate car. All insurance company databases only have 2015 vehicles in their listings. mine was bought in july 2016 and first registered in jun 2016. What would mine be?

    when i bought mine, i got a great deal as the dealer said they were bringing no more in, in anticipation of the disco5. they had maybe 15-20 on order, and around a dozen in the yard. mine was a newly registered demonstrator with 700 klms on the clock..

    Not sure about when the last one was built. But mine was 1st Registered in July 2016. When putting my winch in I happened to notice a tag on some part. It was dated in April 2016. Mine is classified as a 16.5. I have no idea any differences as mine was a Graphite one with a few extras over and above std. I was told it was in the very last shipment to Aus. What i do know is that somethings people say to watch out for (ie the upper radiator hose on the motor cover) in mine the opening is a lot wider and there is no way it could rub. Also fitting the winch bar required a few divergences from the instructions. The bar was made specifically for a D4 yet still mine was a little different.
    2016.5 TDV6 Graphite D4,Corris Grey,APT sliders,Goe air comp plate,UHF & HF radio,Airflow snorkel,Discrete Winch,Compo rims with 265/65/18 Wildpeak AT3W, LLAMs,Traxide dual battery,EAS emergency kit,Mitch Hitch EGR blank & delete,ECU remap

    I believe ours is either the last, or second last HSE into the country,,, I'll just pretend it was the last anyway
    We got to see the list of the last 30 odd vehicles on order for Australia so we could find one one with an E-Diff. In the list were only two HSE's, and we chose the last one as we were able to change a few things in its build. IIRC, the other one was to be built a week earlier, so we we couldn't change anything.

    Not sure if there are any differences at all, just a confirmation of build date,,, more a sales pitch for the last of them I think.
