Tdv6 2.7 Coolant hose near turbo-how to access

    Hi folks,
Need advice on how to access (replace) the metal coolant hose that disappears into a jungle of pipes towards the turbo on left hand side of engine.

Is it possible without removing a heap of stuff. The elbow is about inline with air strut looking through wheel arch, not that I can see it.

Part is in red on attached diagrame and arrowed in photo. I'm in the process of replacing pipes along with water pump.

Thanks for you helpTdv6 2.7 Coolant hose near turbo-how to access

I'm thinking this is where the flexable elbow at end of metal pipe attaches to the engine.
Starting to wonder whether to just not replace that piece rather than strip everything off.

At a guess you remove the front passenger wheel and inner wheel arch and access that way . It is the way you get to the turbo hose so that must be the same.

Ok, so that was PITA job!
Access to hose is by removing the three piece heat shield in the wheel arch to rear of suspension strut and inner wheel arch plastic.
The metal part of coolant pipe is held in place by a metal bracket which I loosened for wiggle room. Bracket bolts are behind power steering pulley, socket goes thru cutout of pulley.
I used 200mm long nose pliers to reach hose clamp.
Undo clamp at engine block, remove metal pipe and elbow together towards radiator.
Rotating back and forth to miss other pipe work.
Not a fun job, next time I will employ a small handed fellow as mine are nicely cut up (I know, office boy)

    Hope this helps someone.
