    D3 mud flaps

Anyone got or know where I can get some of those extra wide rear mud flaps (CAT500112PCL) for my D3?
I’m running 285/60/18 tyres and the standards are just a bit narrow.

    cheers

Original Land Rover parts from Duckworths. 24 pounds from memory. Might be worth getting a local dealer price too.

They only have the standard ones not the extra big ones. I’m pretty sure they are NLA new. Looking for old stock or swaps or second hand I guess.

Have you considered using the D2 front and Deefer rears? (Scott(LRD414)'s rears shown below)

More info in a few threads: D4 Mudflaps Mud flaps and side protection and D4 Mudflaps

    Defender rear flaps (Scott).jpg

Thanks guys for the info, I hadn’t considered those options, I’d still, like some of the others if any one has any, but the defender ones are a great fall back plan.

    cheers all

Oh i see, my bad I thought the defender ones were what you wanted. I have the ones from that thread, the rears from the Defender are ideal. The flex in them means they last forever over dunes, corrugations, whatever. The D2 fronts are nearly a bin job as they've cracked from sand dunes. Those are just ebay cheapies anyway though so doesn't matter.

No problem, I actually like the look of the defender ones, it will more than likely end up being the choice, my big tyres stick out way past the current ones and it’s making a mess of my car, so no more procrastinating.....

I've got Defender flaps on the back and D1s on the front. Look good and do the job. Plus for the back I have an old dog choke chain fitted to pull them back when in sand.
