    D4 remap advice

I have 2014 tdv6 which I mainly use for towing.

I am thinking of getting a remap done
    mainly for egr blanking

The local mechanic I go to uses Quantum remaps but I was also looking at Bruce Davis
Using the local guy has advantages as would be easier to organize and follow up support if required compared to Bruce. I am in the ACT so going to Bruce is a bit of a hassle but then I bought a D4 so expect hassles.

Has anyone had experience with either of the two options they can share please.

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most

2015 TDV6 D4.... the latest project... Llams, Traxide, Icom 455, Tuffant Kimberleys and Mofos.... so far.
2012 SDV6 SE D4 with some stuff... gone...
    2003 D2a TD5...gone...
    2000 D2 V8...gone...

    Yep 3.0 8 speed

i have been told the 3.0 does not have many egr issues I have had one and I suspect the recent one was the same. Haven’t checked yet. Both occurrences while towing my van.

i raised a thread on this earlier this year.

I thought one occurrence could be bad luck but now second so looking more seriously.

I am am leaning towards Quantum as will just be easier to get done unless I hear otherwise.

I went Quantum on my 2010 D4 2.7 and I'm happy with it. EGR shutoff and blue tune. Just a bit exy though for a file upload. I know the device costs a lot thought so...

Many Thanks for the reply. They do seem to be very big overseas.

Hi mate. No I don't tow anything. I do a lot of highway miles though. I spoke to Quantum in the UK before I went with it and they said the file I was using was very popular and had been tweaked many times over the years and it was pretty much bang on.
