Car dropped about 20mm over 3 weeks

    Gday all,

left the D3 parked up with the battery disconnect for 21 days and got back today to see it had dropped evenly front & rear about 20mm. Connected the battery and started up and she pumped back to normal straight away.

not really sure if I should be looking for a leak or just accept it and be happy that it wasn't on the bump stops.

    Cheers Ean

If it was on the bump stops, then I would worry.

Mine was a worry when it was on the bump stops in a week.

Bottom line, nothing to worry about IMHO.

Agree with scarry. 20mm over three weeks? Gen 1 and 2 EAS would definitely be on bump stops (or tilted at an odd angle) and the air reservoir empty. And it would take quite some time (like 8 to 10 minutes) to lift the car and refill the reservoir. I'm amazed at how the D4 (I have no experience of the D3) holds it's EAS settings virtually indefinitely.
Find something else to worry about Ean!

Try driving past a bus depot early in the morning and see the crazy angles the buses are sitting at before start up. Must be a lot of leaks there but up they come with no worries mostly.
