I had good runs out of Grabbers on Defenders but will go the Maxxis for the D4. Had them on a Prado and found them good and the ride was much softer than the BFGs it previously had.
But it's a pity BFGs don't yet come in a 19" or I'd go for them.
    Thnx. Greg.

PS Would be nice to get something for the original tyres on the Disco which have only done 23K ....tyre bloke told me it would cost me 6 bucks for them to get rid of them.......

Just keep your original tyres Alan, store them like I have. Mine have only done about 10,000km, I figure once the Maxxis are worn out I'll put the road tyres back on...or I might put them on sooner and keep the Maxxis for our next big trip. At least it gives you options, and they're worth sod all second hand anyway.

Problem becomes if they’re 5 years old they’re land fill (or tyre swans)

Ordered my AT980s... will report on them when i have used them for a while.
The Nexun 542 have done almost 50k puncture free and seen a few unpleasant surfaces. Couldn't fault them however i have been nervous on rocks with their non LT rating...

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

So you’re suggesting the 10 year old tyres on my Magna train station car are no good? I just don’t see what the problem is 19" AT Tyres for D4 /RRS

I can’t deny that. They’re past their best way before that too.

    19" AT Tyres for D4 /RRS

I currently run Maxxis AT980's in the 255/55/19.
They have been on for 60,000kms, and given the wear, I'd say another 60,000 + kms left.
60,000 kms is made up of 90% on road, 10% sand usage.
Road noise is a lot better than expected.
My work ute runs BFG AT in 17" and they are a lot louder on the road.

    Hi All,
Tyroola currently has a "mates rates" referral refund special going if you happen to know several people who need tyres (or need a couple of sets yourself).

    How it works

    1. Buy: Choose your preferred tyres and check out to receive your unique Mates Rates link.
    2. Share: Share with friends & family who have 30 days to purchase tyres using your unique Mates Rates link.
    3. Get your tyre refund: Receive a refund according to the number of friends who purchase using your unique Mates Rates link.

    1 Friend = 15% refund, 2 friends = 30% refund, 3 friends = 50% refund.

So if you buy 4x Duratracs 255/55/19 111Q @$299 ea = $1196, then 3 of your friends use your referral link you would be refunded $598.

You can also get them delivered directly to a tyre fitting partner on the site.

    19" Mud Tyres for D4 ?? - Atturo Trail Blade MT's 255/55R19

Was following this thread while looking for a decent AT tyre (to fit the standard 19" wheels) to tow my 3.3t (loaded) offroad caravan for the big lap....and came across a possible mud tyre for the 19s.

Has anyone had experience with the Atturo 19" Mud Tyres ??? - Atturo Trail Blade MT's 255/55R19

Ive found them for $280 (not fitted ebay) to $350 each fitted

LR owner has done a quick Review
Review of Atturo Trail Blade MT's 255/55R19 - Land Rover Forums - Land Rover Enthusiast Forum

Would this be worth considering over the AT tyres previously mentioned?

    Thanks
