D4 Reverse Camera Over-ride (post 2013) is it possible?

I've seen some Youtube videos on over-riding the Reverse Camera in a D4 so that it stays on while driving, so you can keep an eye on the trailer.

The menu in the so-called "Secret Screen" is different in the 2013 on models.

Does anyone know of a way to keep the camera on?

I think you may be out of luck. It is a standard feature for the facelift MY14+ with a camera selection button on the screen.

You would need to fit a geniune MY14+ camera with Canbus connection to be able to get the camera selection on the info screen.

The video format is also different with reverse camera input vs secret screen (PAL vs NTSC) so you cannot just flick from one to the other....

I have a 2013 and I can keep any or all cameras on while driving. They wont stay on if you select Cameras from the Main Menu. But if you go to Extras -> Cameras, they will.
