    Hanging cable

Behind the gear box there is a cable that hangs down - which to me looks like it is ready to be ripped off by a branch when I go off road driving. In the picture attached you can see it on the RHS of the box, but it doesn't show how low it actually hangs.
Is this how that cable is supposed to be positioned, or should it be tucked away a little further up?

Good underbody plating protects that area.
    Worth looking into.

Not 100% sure if it's in normal position but does seem to be.
Either way it's one of the reasons I've fitted an APT transmission guard which has an extension to cover the transfer case.

    Hanging cable

Haha I was looking under my car today and saw that and thought exactly the same thing!!
I also thought the wire for the water in the fuel sensor in the wheel arch in my D2 would get ripped out or hit by a rock but never did!!
I was also wondering what that yellow plastic thing was underneath!!
