I replaced my radio with a double DIN Pioneer AVH 275BT
Needed an ISO adaptor and a steering wheel button adaptor
Works fine including hands free phone
Hi Guys
Excuse my ignorance - Ive just bought a used D3 and was wondering whether their would be any issues in taking the radio/CD out and replacing it with a non-OEM system with IPhone capability so I can play music and make hands free calls? Or would I be better off installing a Parrot and running everything through that? Thanks for your help.
Kevin

Probably should also mention it depends on what audio system your car has, as to how hard integration will be, ie amplifier and canbus etc
With aftermarket head unit you wont be able to adjust the clock in the dash and possibly other functions, you can get from ebay a fascia kit with adapter loom to keep some of the factory look.

This is a similar one suitable for the basic non amplified non Harmon Kardon head. Check compatibility with your particular vehicle/entertainment head

I put a Enon double din unit in (Chinese). Unit comes with GPS antenna, Internet antenna for wireless internet works extremely well) and a mix of cables for power etc It also works with a reverse camera. Purchased install kit from UK which came with mounting frame and jumper cable to utilise existing radio/antenna cables. Yes you lose the clock but the new unit has a clock, it also starts up with Land Rover logo as well. Had it 12 months and no problem
