    Optima's dont have a higher enough ah rating for D3/4.

    Odyssey in the primary. Optima in pos 2 & 3.

    You won’t fit the D31 into the main area...

    Fitted a Centary DIN85L CCA780 to my 2.7RRS 3 1/2 yrs ago and not a problem .

    For these vehicles it is, the OEM battery in mine is rated at 92AH.

    Not so much... the cca is important on Calcium/Lead batteries.

    The pulse current on the Optima/Odyssey more than exceeds the required rating.

    However they do chew a bit in standby so a decent AH doesn’t hurt Which battery for D3?
