The worrying is over. I hope.
I bought two new rims direct from Compomotive after finding that my original rims (PD1880) were superseded in 2013 by a higher pressure alloy (PD1881) with an increased gap to allow larger rocks to pass between rim and caliper.
Fair enough, I was back to 6 rims again.
Then SWMBO wanted me to assure her we wouldn't have any more cracks in the other two older rims I was going to leave on the car. Ergo. Another two had to be ordered to avoid the potential "I told you so."
