Unsprung weight has a theoretical and actual impact for the effectiveness of the suspension. Moving greater weight up and down changes the acceleration of the wheel to impact or loss of traction. Suffice to say the changes will shift the optimum or tuned suspension point somewhere else. All things are a compromise somewhat and any change whether it be a heavier tyre or a lighter tyre, rim etc. will change it ever so slightly. Trial and error will dictate the actual impact as I’m not capable of the maths involved [emoji6]
