Depends on what you have. Hitachi or CMK.
I’d suggest if you have Hitachi getting the later CMK unit and upgrading.
Don’t go the Chinese knock offs!
So I Am sure the question has been asked many times but here we go again.
Apparently my suspension fault is due to the compressor needing repairs.
I have been looking at replacements on eBay as well as kits to refurbish the current compressor. I won't be doing the work myself.
What is my best option and how much should I pay?
Cheers
Laury

I tried repairing mine, got then end cap and all from England.
Still had issues so I just picked up a new AMK compressor from LR for just under $1800 and I’ll fit it tonight. They don’t sell the hitachis anymore.
You can get compressors on eBay but a lot are cheap knock offs so I didn’t take the risk.
I managed to repair mine using the kit however the new aluminium end caps Voss connectors were not of great quality and didn’t secure that well. I decided to use some wire to keep the locking tab in place.

My mech just put a Hitachi back on and IIRC going from Hitachi to AMK means changing the bracket as well.
If you are not doing the work, I suspect a third party would be reluctant to rebuild the compressor with a kit
I recently rebuilt my compressor with a kit as part of a EAS refurb, but I had the time to invest. My repair didnt go to plan as I damaged the piston crown removing the seal retainer. Luckily I sourced a new piston

Pm me if you want to sell the old Hitachi compressor, as I could possibly repair it as a spare
