Yeah, I didn't have time to wait for it to get here, i need my car this weekend.
Apparently the first lot of AMKs also had issues. What they sell now is the 2nd round of AMKs.
In the end, my hitachi lasted 190,000kms before the end cap cracked. For such a little compressor I reckon that's pretty bloody good (it is possible it has been out of the car before i owned bought it at 100,000kms as it had some white texta on it tho, however there was no mention of a compressor on the receipts from the original owner)
nah, i've got the Nanocom I think, which allows me to Flash ECUs.
How important is it to lower the operating pressure? landrover said they could do it for me if i need, but I might consider doing it myself with the nanocom if it's easy enough to do.

See below a link with some comments i made on Disco3UK with a few tips to make it easier that weren't mentioned in the TSB or disco mikeys instructions.
Cheers
I've replaced my Hitachi with another from ebay UK, it's plug and play, takes 1 hour to install first time without know how to do it.
I think it was 700shipped. AMK was going to be much more and I'm willing to buy a new compressor every 4 years if I have the car that long. This car had a rebuilt or second compressor in it already MY 10 RRS
