    Mysterious Black tube

    Any body know what this black tube is for? Fell out on me when I was poking around in the rear drivers side mudguard fitting new mudflaps (D4). Looks like a breather tube of sorts, about 30cm long, 6mm diameter.

    If it were on the passenger side it could be the aircon condenser drain tube.

    On the rhs maybe associated with fuel tank breather?

    It’s the hose for the drain for any spillage inside the fuel cap area.

    When I installed my Long Range tank I couldn’t get it to stay so just left it off...

    Doesn’t make any difference.

    Spot on Tombie, was the waste pipe off fuel cap area. Thanks!
    Mudflaps all fitted.
