Suspension warning lights when towing - Gremlins?

Recently acquired D3 and fitted electric brakes to tow caravan. Noticed fog lights come on when van is connected but indicators etc all seem to work fine. Just towed van from Newcastle to Port Macquarie - suspension warning light came on: pulled over, turned engine off, restarted and light had gone. Came back on about 5 minutes later and seemed to come on at same time that auto headlights came on. Pulled over, had lunch, restarted and no light. Switched headlights from auto and finsished trip with no more warning lights. Can anybody shed any light (no pun intended) on this? PS - I have no LEDS on the van.

    Thanks for your help

Who fitted your brake controller? Look in the D3 sticky thread on discussions re brake wiring. Sounds like yours hasn't been wired up correctly.

Has the 2nd trailer parker light supply wire that in Oz is used for the electric brake supply, been cut? Lots of references to it in other posts.
