    Adding Cornering Lights to D4

    Hi Guys

I've bought a D4, and one of the features i really missed from RRS, was the cornering lights. These switched lighting up the direct you were turning into when turn around 40Km/h in combination with the indicators.
So I've done a lot of reading mainly on diso3.co.uk forums, as there isn't much on AULRO.

So i want to retro fit these to my D4. from my reading, as long as the connector to the back of the headlight has the red wire in the top left, its do-able.

My actual head lights aren't fitted with globes, just the Chromed out pieces of plastic.

I've bought my self a set of H8 Globes, and connectors (have 4 spare if anyone want em)

Now I believe all i need are terminal connectors to push into the back of the headlight and connect up the wiring from the my h8 connectors (red to pin 4, and black to pin 14)

and someone with a Fault mate, IID tool or a nanocom to edit CCF file to enable corner light fitment.

    Have I missed anything?

Please when you find the connectors for the plug, let me know. I want to do the same thing and can’t find anywhere for the connectors as I have no idea what to search for.

I'm going to try some molex connectors out, I know where I have some male and female terminals at my old employer, let you know how I go...

Managed to get the chrome piece out of the head light but all I'm left with is a round hole that's moulded into the reflector, h8 globe has no chance of fitting in.
Are people drilling the back of these reflector to make these bulbs fit?

Pictures I posted above where all of disco4.co.uk forum not of my headlight.

    Hmmm what's my next step

Show a pic of yours before you pulled the back off.
Looks to be a completely different set up.

All I've done is take the bracket of the back and lifted the dust cap off. Aside from removing the fake bulb in the back of the reflector.

... So I drilled out a 19mm hole in one headlight and using a square edge file made some notches for the globe. Dremel sanded the high spots on the back of the reflector to make it a little flatter. The globe fit sorta snuggley.

The molex pins I had were too short so I still don't have the terminals required.
Thinking I might just grab a feed of the back of the connector directly from the red wire, same thing right?

Here you go. Plug with 16 pins, enough to do the job. Not cheap mind you.
