    Windscreen Jets

Probably a silly question, but do your windscreen water jets squirt in a straight line (like a water pistol) or spray out like a fan? I've got a 2016 D4 and they are squirting it in 4 straight lines, not very effective in covering the window compared to my wife's i30 which sprays in a fan shape.
Can't remember if mine ever did when I bought it new or always been like this?

Water jet on discovery sport is very good. Very consistent spray, like a mist.

    Maybe able to retrofit?

Squirt a little and let the water run down the screen before the wipers come on.

Not on a D4 you won’t! Press spray and it’s timed, it sprays then wipes fractions of a second delay.

I find the fan sprays useless on anything more than a speck of dirt, and downright dangerous in bright sun.

I much prefer the 4 streams that do a decent soak just as the blades commence.

Yes I like the volume of water they spray on. I have done minor adjustment to one to get it to spray where I want it but that's it. It also helps especially when the sun is low in the sky to have the inside of the screen clear of that grey "smog" which affects smokers vehicles especially. You can see it most mornings when the driver of the car in front is trying to clean the screen while driving into the sun.
    Very dangerous.
Mine used to be like that before I became pure.......
