D4 Long Ranger timer control 12v location

    Hey guys,

Literally just throwing the Long Ranger into the D4 and I am up to wiring in the timer controller.

I was hoping someone could tell me which 12v supply they used. Want it switched and would like to avoid using relays and pushing another cable into the engine bay.

Should have put this post up before I got to this point..

    Thanks in advance.

    Accessories socket works..

Hope you didn’t punch a hole in the floor either, there’s a clean way to get the cable out to the pump.

Cheers Tombie, didn't even think of that.

No I didn't luckily, I found a gromet where the foam jack holder sits and went down through there. Pops out 50mm from all the fuel fill hoses. You just reminded me to get out and silicon it up this morning.

Too late now but what about across to the cig socket in the rear? Pretty easy access to the back of it and can run your feed wire easily from driver side to passenger side under the floor carpet.

Cheers Scott, unfortunately the harness supplied only has a metre of cable from the plug that fits the timer control module. It was enough to sneak from the right kick panel around to the console, but to make it a tad easier to get the console panel in and out I soldered a 150mm piece in.

All done and tested this morning.

Just about to put some APT sliders on. The other guards are on, just the sliders and compressor guard to go!
