    I've been using Eastern prestige (who were Roverland before Land Rovers lawyers came knocking) for well over 10 years and been extremely happy with the work they do.

    My experiences with AMV were with the previous owner many years ago.... that's why I use Eastern Prestige - but that's certainly no reflection on the AMV of today.... I have other friends that have used AMV recently and been extremely happy.

    Both workshops have a good reputation and really knowledgeable staff that have worked exclusively on land rovers for many years.

    Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most

    2015 TDV6 D4.... the latest project... Llams, Traxide, Icom 455, Tuffant Kimberleys and Mofos.... so far.
    2012 SDV6 SE D4 with some stuff... gone...
    2003 D2a TD5...gone...
    2000 D2 V8...gone...

    Hi Guppy;

    Eastern Ranges every time without question for me. LR specialists all three who do the work and they really know their stuff. They work pretty much exclusively on LR of any model. Glen the owner is a really decent guy.

    The previous owner of AMV did them no favours and was as arrogant as they come. Greg on the other hand is honest and trustworthy and they do good work. I have been using him for a few years now after a falling out with a now failed busyness in Hallam and am happy with his work and pricing.

    I use my 4wds as 4wds and expect the highest standard of work every time because most failures or breakdowns are avoidable so a good mechanic is a must. I will continue with AMV providing the attention to detail stays at the top.

    I would say either company would serve you well as both have loyal customers

    I use Greg at AMV as well. Excellent workmanship and in my opinion, excellent pricing too.

    I liked Pete’s straight forward manner, some don’t.
    Each to their own.

    I had a busyness over the road from him when he was in Elliot Plc Ringwood, straight forward manner was one way to describe him...
