All my receipts I’ve ever had from dealers and Indis have had what Work was done. My last 2 dealer ones had all work that was carried out. I had to take it back for warranty work and a mistake that was made on their part from the service and that was all described on the paperwork too.

Yes I know that, but it is your vehicle not Landrovers - if you are happy for the cloud to maintain your record - thats great. But for me it is no use as my vehicle is owned by me and not serviced by LR but I still require a service record - I have my own book with my own stamp and everything is recorded - better than any cloud entry.

If you dont have a book - get one or make one and get it stamped by whoever does the work. As I said - it is your car, not LRs so keep your own records.

From someone with intimate knowledge of dealer management systems I can assure you every service description is pre-canned. Every fluid, accessory, text etc is all standard based on the line item of the service type line item. There is no guarantee anything that the sheet says was done, aside from maybe the tread depth measurements lol.
Where they’ve done additional non-standard work then you can be reasonably confident that’s accurate.

It is all standard line stuff on the receipts, I have just had my D4 serviced at a indie with extra work done, diff and transfer case oil changed at 60,000km. The oil specified for the diffs and the oil on the invoice were 2 very different oils, I rang the manager and questioned him about this and he insured me the correct oil had been put in and even rang back 15 minutes later after he had been out to the workshop and checked the oil spec and staff just to be 100% sure and to let me know exactly what had gone in.
On there computer system he said it comes up with one oil for diffs and that is what is printed because there are to many oils to have every one listed just for diffs. Engine correct spec listed but T/C just said LR special TC oil with no spec.
Its all generic and if you don't do it yourself how could you know 100%...

Just to finish off my original post (or is this now to continue it) I had a call from ULR this morning with good and bad news........ Good news the split upper radiator hose (from the engine cover rubbing on it) will be covered by warranty........bad news no upper hose it Australia and there is a 10 to 12 day wait? When I asked why such a consumable item was allowed to get so low in stock, was told its an imported car!

JLR Australia is an importer of cars and they're continuously shooting themselves in the foot regarding reliability and serviceability of "their" marques. :-/

Incompetent parts management springs to mind. (Just-in-time - yeah, right!)

Suzuki don't. Try seven months with the clock still ticking for fuel pumps, driver seat bases and years for radio/reversing camera systems.
