    D3 and D4 oil

Hi Guys, Just purchased this from Repco it has the right spec for my09 D3 2.7ltr and for my son's my16 D4 3.0 ltr it is in a 6 litre tub. It was brought out for the Ford ranger and Mustang vehicles. I payed $49.99 for the tub great value at that price I think it is on special at the moment.
    Cheers

I can’t buy it purely for its woeful advertising. Not only does it imply its magnetic as such, it claims its molecules have intelligence? I feel purchasing is in some way suggesting to the advertisers we’re fools and we believe the utter rot on the outside.
Not a bad price though I do admit D3 and D4 oil

I thought the 2.7 and the 3.0 used a different grade of oil.

According to Castrol the oil for my 09 D3 is Magntec professional A5 and the spec in my manual is the same as on the tub
It also says I'm my manual if that oil is not available use 5w 30 Acea A3 B3.

Believe is same oil (without marketing) sold by Ford for the Territory definitely meeting 2.7D specs letter for letter from the owners manual.

Not hard to find a Ford dealer.

    3.0 litre twin turbo's specify ford wss-m2c934.
And yep, ford oil is rebadged castrol , nothing wrong with castrol oil in general.

Not 100% correct. 934 is for DPF equipped vehicles and works also in non-dpf too, whereas non-dpf can use 913 also.

yep the user manual in my 08 D3 says that or better . Not sure if A1/B1 is better or worse in the scale of oil.
