"D3/D4 Remote Area Repair Training Day" - Is this a good idea?

His website declares in the News that he is back after illness. Benefit of doubt needed. He deserves the support and presumably the book is in stock and off the shelf.

Failing that, send him the money and I’ll post you mine and get one later.

    Hi

    > But, if nothing else every D3 / D4 owner should read and have his book.

Even if it takes a while for it to be delivered the GO Terrain Response Booklet seems useful so I have just now ordered a copy. Even though I like getting things for free that price for the book is fine, it does not come from a big publisher and one needs to support individuals or small groups producing books these days.

    Hi all

My copy of the Green Oval Experience "Off-road Terrain Response" booklet arrived yesterday. I have been busy reading it in the train this morning. What a wonderful book. I have already read so many interesting things about my D4 that I feel like going right back home and taking it bush to try out stuff :-)

So the booklet is available, it takes a little time. Do order yourself a copy. Be patient.

The training on DIY repairs off road is good idea. Im in Newcastle area, not sure if any Sydney/Newcastle clubs run these training days? Knowing how to do CV joints always seems ot come up...or at least get them into a limp mode to get home

Please count me in for a training day, particularly is it were to be focused on solving common failures well enough at a remote location to then be able to get back to a major town.

We are in Bilpin in the Blue Mountains, so well located for anything that is organised either in the Lithgow to Bathurst area, or in Sydney.

FWIW, I ordered and paid for the GOE Terrain Response Off-Road book on 5th Sept and have not received it yet. I haven't sent a query on the order status to Gordon yet, but will probably do so shortly.

I’d be keen on the training day .. and the GOE booklet too, but not sure I understand why these are taking so long to be sent out?

Sometimes its better to sit here, think that and say nothing, than to risk the wrath of D3 / D4 owners
